Your body is continuously solving problems before you even know there was a problem.

It is predicting, adjusting, and responding.

Amazing to know 😱

Good analysis 😃

Very well written. I find myself wondering while driving “Should I take a left or right here.” But before I even answer it, my hands are turning the wheel. So my body knows!

I am very glad I read this! Thank you! I learned so much!

Easy Weezy's avatar

Appreciate you mate as so did i and your example just added more understanding and meaning to the article. Thank you for reading mate…

Have you ever automatically driven home instead of where you were going because you mind was wandering?

Easy Weezy's avatar

Interesting question James

👍

Jacqueline Billy's avatar

Yes! Of course! I was on automatic pilot! While the mind was absent, my body took over, no accidents, just perfect driving by my body! Or unconscious

Easy Weezy's avatar

neural hijacking by the subconscious as your body knows home.

Hey Easy, this is my favorite piece of yours so far. It feels grounding and expansive at the same time. I’ve been thinking a lot about how much of what we call “identity” is actually post-hoc narration, and your framing of embodied intelligence quietly dismantles that assumption. It made me pay closer attention to my own micro-movements.

Easy Weezy's avatar

Hey Chaw, Thank you for taking the time to read as i appreciate your kind comments also knowing that i could bring your attention to does movements that usually goes unnoticed. Wishing you a beautiful day mate and do have a good one!!!

It’s a really interesting article and a topic I’ve been reflecting on lately, I’m actually sharing it in my new blog today. Physician and trauma expert Gabor Maté explains that stress and emotional patterns literally shape our physiology—mind and body aren’t just connected, they’re one system. I’ve always felt that, but from my perspective as a trauma survivor, I noticed my mind cleared first while my body took a bit longer to catch up. Now I see how my body protected me all these years and is simply reprogramming itself to a new reality of calm.

Easy Weezy's avatar

Hey Patrycja Rusak i appreciate you taking the time to drop such an amazing comment and glad your mind has cleared and also looking forward to your body which is the first line of defense catches up. The embodied mind shows mind and body are not only connected like you said but one. Have a good day and do take care mate!!!

Good read. I approach similar questions from a more abstract angle, so it’s interesting to see them grounded in the body.

Easy Weezy's avatar

I am glad you enjoyed reading AK as it is nice you got a new insight also. Looking forward to connecting more with you and do have a good one!!!

This shifts responsibility inward in a healthy way. When you start noticing how your body reacts, you gain a moment of choice before reacting automatically.

Easy Weezy's avatar

You summarized it beautifully Frank, Appreciate you taking the tine to read and leaving such a beautiful comment. Have a good one!!!

This was a very interesting read. As someone with ADHD, I have to be very conscious of my body's reactions and what it's telling me. This was a fascinating read from that perspective.

Easy Weezy's avatar

I am glad this article to bring such insight Gries as well as give clarity. It is my pleasure Gries. Have a good one!!!

Of course, there's inhanced interrogation techniques like waterboarding, uncomfortable body positions, dogs, snakes, spiders

Abu Grav brought this to the attention of the world. Obama outlawed most of it.

A common argument is that when someone is being tortured they will say anything to make it stop. That's why you use it to verify information you already have. Like a reporter using at least two sources

It also can give you additional leads to follow.

I never used harsh techniques. I'm half human

I also never used derogatory nicknames for the enemy, to make them less than human, which lessons the guilty if you have to shoot someone. I pay a price for that.

Really amazing stuff James, Do appreciate you for taking the time to share with us as it is a pleasure connecting with you also. Have a wonderful Saturday and do take care!!

If you want to know what someone is really thinking and not what they want you to think they are thinking, learn how to read micro expressions. They show in the person's eyes before they have time to think of a lie. You can also look at whether their eyes look up an to the right to access the recall part of the brain, or down a to the left to access the plotting and planning part of the brain.

Just have to be aware that this can be faked if the person knows this trick. Use it for confirmation, not as a tell.

Easy Weezy's avatar

Hey James, it is a pleasure having you here and you must be quite an observer gesture sometimes do speak louder than words because it is actions and sometimes subconscious and other times conscious like you pointed out.

I appreciate you sharing such insight nugget with us as well as thank you for taking the time to check out my article. Looking to build more on this connection also. do take care and have a good one

Another thing to look for is rapid pupil constriction when they see or hear something that excites them or gives them hope. That's why poker players wear reflective sunglasses.

You can play on the "I know everything" technique.

"Look, we already know everything we need to know. This is an opportunity for you to come clean and relieve yourself of the burden you must be feeling."

The best interrogation technique movie I've ever seen is "Zero Dark 30".

Easy Weezy's avatar

Amazing mind me asking if animals were used to learn such skills??

James K's avatar

Dogs were used at Abu Grav to scare prisoners.

These techniques were also used at Guantanamo and other black ops sites.

Amazing to know James, i appreciate you for sharing!!!
