I’m inspired by your vision of the future. 🧠 ✨

The way you foreground ethics and empathy reads as the work of a genuinely compassionate professional. Using the tools we have at our disposal to support people, while remaining attentive to both their possibilities and their limits, feels grounded and holistic in ways that are too often missing from more casual or purely topical conversations about technology.

This piece has teeth and legs. Thank you for sharing. šŸŒ±šŸ’œ

Reading this made me think of how "My Accountability Partner" helps me notice patterns I’d otherwise miss, like hidden connections in my own habits.

AI can map synesthetic links, but what about the everyday symphonies in our lives?

How often do you pause to hear yours?

Hey Frank, It is a pleasure connecting with you and i do like how you call it your "My Accountability Partner" and AI is definitely positioning itself to help be that also and to the symphonies in our lives how could anyone not pause to hear it? looking forward to connecting with you more mate. do take care??

This is a brilliant exploration of how AI can finally map the stable cross-sensory associations that have been hiding in plain sight for synesthetes. The idea that machine learning can detect high-dimensional patterns across modalities where traditional case studies failed is genuinely transformative for neuroscience. What strikes me most is the bidirectional potential: AI doesn't just validate subjective experience,it could reveal synesthetic patterns people haven't consciously recognized yet. The ethical framework you outline around consent and agency is critical becuase we're essentially asking AI to read someone's private sensory symphony without reducing it to mere diagnostic data.

Hey Neural Foundry, it is a pleasure connecting and you and i also find it brilliant also as the robustness of AI does have its advantages and using AI in Exploring Synesthesia so as to reveal patterns and make it visible for us in order for education of synesthesia to be more available add more beauty to it. The ethical framework is needed and it is an amazing collaboration well ventured into. I Appreciate you taking the time to read as well as leaving a comment. Have a good one!!!

Thank you. Great article. My degree is Psychology (but I'm not a professional). I studied synethesia and was always fascinated. One of my main areas of interest has always been cognition and consciousness. I was going to do a PhD in Machine Learning (Semantic Categorisation Theory) and have had a genuine love for AI. I develop complex cognitive and creative prompts that push AI (a few have been used commercially - so I guess others think they work! haha).

I shall have to put my thinking hat on and have a ponder about synethesia more - and if I can work something structural for AI to play with.

Hey mate, how is it going? It is a pleasure having you here and i am glad you enjoyed reading and studying clinical psychology is definitely one of my aspiration and hopefully soon. I am also quite fascinated by Consciousness and i definitely have alot to learn from you and Cognition is also amazing as i did try to learn embodied cognition as the body like science is just magic made physical, would love to check out your prompts also . I also look forward to seeing what you put on concerning synesthesia as it is truly fascinating. Have a good one mate!!!

Great article.. Hard to articulate that the five mundane senses

of

Taste touch smell hearing and sight

also have the five non mundane senses.

of

Feeling sensation euphoria intuition and spirituality.

ccording to Jaynes, this bicameral mentality was a non-conscious mental structure in which one part of the mind (analogous to the right hemisphere) generated auditory hallucinations perceived as commands from external agents such as gods, ancestors, or rulers, while the other part (analogous to the left hemisphere) listened and obeyed without question

Hey there, i am glad you enjoyed reading and really nice to see you bringing up jaynes Bicameral mind which did hit in the origin of consciousness, he did bring some points words remembering and yea all senses have their connection just as how Inanimate and animate objects are just both sides of the same coin. have a good one mate!!!
